Re-padding Sofa Repairs

This sofa was looking flat and misshaped compared to how the customer wanted it to be, the sofa needed re-padding. Our technicians were able to rectify the problem.

Our technician arrived at the customers home and assessed the situation. After a little looking and feeling of the seats the technician was able to gather a rough idea of where the seats would need padding more. In order to re-pad the seats the technician had to flip the sofa over to access the bottom.

Firstly the technician has to remove the staples from the sofa in order to take the dust cover off. Once this has been done the technician then has access to the inside of the sofa. He then fills the cushions with foam padding placing it carefully in the areas that need it most but padding each seat to ensure the re-padding is done in full.

 
Re-padding

The technician may flip the sofa back over and test the sofa to feel if it needs anymore padding in areas. If so then the technician will add some more foam to the inside of the cushions. Once this is completed the technician re-attaches The dustcover using a staple gun. After this is done the technician flips the re-padded sofa back over.

Yearly maintenance

We offer a yearly maintenance plan for all customers that have had our full restoration service. This is where you get a reduced fixed price for us to visit every year. This to undertake a full clean and minor repairs for the price of our standard clean package. If you would like to take advantage of this package please speak to technician while on site. They can get you added to the plan and get your next appointment booked in.
